Called ABC in November, scheduled me for only two weeks later. Owner and two assistants came with all cordial and introduced themselves when coming into my house. We had ABC INSULATION insulate our home(attic and exterior walls) this past Friday, and the difference was immediate! Steve was able to give me a quote over the phone and then even came over to confirm the quote and evaluate the house with his thermal camera. He wrote a quote and gave us a few available dates, then put us on the schedule. He showed up when he said he would and started the work. He required no down payment and they offered convenient payment options, including personal check, Venmo, and Zelle. They did a very good job covering and painting the port holes on the outside walls(with the color paint for the siding we provided). They were very professional and tackled all aspects of insulation and got rid of a nylon sheet left over in the attic by previous homeowners, and even patched a crack in the ceiling, very detail oriented and shows that they know what they are doing. Over the weekend we could already feel the difference. The furnace didn’t run as often or as hard as it used to and the heat definitely lasted so much longer than before. For attic and basement insulation, I got four quotes and almost ruled out Steve's because it was BY FAR the lowest. Unlike another cellulose company that tried to upsell and gave a flat estimate without itemizing, Steve said that this was a very straightforward job and explained how he calculated the price and the scope of the job. Very clear and timely communication via phone and email. Scheduling was a breeze and I felt at ease as soon as he arrived, on time and respectful about keeping the house clean. He works with his crew, often unusual with an owner but makes a huge difference. He did extra work without complaining to open a jammed door for easy access for his guys. His solutions for my situation were clear and affordable; I wish I had done this years ago! I've been able to lower my thermostat and keep it warm; my first night with a properly insulated attic was toasty!
